About Our Youth Pastor

Jesse Kuhns,

I grew up in the Dalton area and was saved at the age of four in my home. I went to Massillon Baptist College from 2017-2020 where I graduated with my Bachelors in Divinty (Pastoral Degree). I have a Masters (currently persuing Doctorate) in Biblical Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

My wife, Maisey was saved at the age of 9. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio where I met her. We got married September 4, 2021. I worked at Calvary Baptist Church as an Intern for two years. On May 26, 2021, I took the position of Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor at Dalton Baptist Church.

The first goal of mine and my wife's for the Youth Group is that the message of Salvation be known to all. Secondly, that the Youth Group be encouraged to grow their relationship with the Lord. The lessons are being taught in an exciting manner from the Word of God. As the Word of God is so exciting to learn about. We are looking forward to the Youth Group growing both spiritually and in numbers along with the church as a whole.

We have teen class on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 am.

Sometime in the future we are looking to start up a Wednesday evening class. We look forward to seeing you in class.
